Android App (New Universal One with Glip) and DND

Last post on this was 6 months ago and I am not sure which app (new Glip or old RC Phone) they were discussing. I don't see a way to fully shut down the app on my phone. Worse, the app doesn't respect my phones DND settings. Calls and messages ring through regardless. Any ideas how to fix this?
