We our concerned that our phone system may have been compromised as we are getting repeated calls from 1-888-391-2911 and the ID of various names of people in our own organization. The calls are being received by at least two people internally. We have blocked the number on the admin console and reported the number to the CRTC (same as FCC in the US).

Has anyone else had this happen and if so, were there any steps that were taken to rectify the possible compromise?

I should also mention since the steps above were already taken, we are continuing to receive these concerning calls.


For those following, RingCentral support reported that they are unable to assist with determining if there is an internal compromise of our account and have closed the ticket on this.
