I wish we could put an incoming call on hold, without having to answer it first. Thanks !

We'd ask that you add it to the Ideas Portal found HERE.

This way, we can more efficiently route to our product teams for their review.

I could say that it is not possible, nor a standard behavior. All you can do is to put the incoming call to a call queue.
