2FA failing while trying to Login

When I am trying to login to my RingCentral account, I get to the 2FA (where I am asked to send a code to an email and supply it as verification).

But every time I receive the code and enter it, then click submit to verify it, I get the following error message and cannot proceed.screen-shot-2020-12-16-at-112228-am.png

Can someone please help me so I may get access to my RingCentral account?

I found out I can use the Google Signin method.
So, I have a workaround, but I would still like to understand why this is failing.
