Get Call Logs for Account via Webhook

We are building an integration between RingCentral and Salesforce and trying to get all call logs from RingCentral into Salesforce via WebHook.

Thank you so much for the link to the telephony session event notification article! RingCental’s Salesforce package does not guarantee every call being made via RingCentral (outside and inside salesforce) will be recorded in salesforce. To make sure we get precise analytics, we are building centralised integration to accurately get all logs at one place. Thus, opening up this thread. Thanks

In that case, you can further read this article to learn more about how to use raw telephony session data to create own call analytics.

I believe that the RingCentral - Salesforce integration already provided a feature to sync a user’s call log for every call.

But if you are looking for something else, RingCentral call logs can be accessed only via the REST API calls. You can call the following APIs to read

Alternatively, you can call the call log sync API periodically to sync the call log with your CRM.

There is no call-log event filter for Webhook or WebSocket event notification! However, there is a telephony session event notification that gives you call events in real-time with raw call data. If you are interested, please read this article to learn more about the telephony session event notifications.

@PhongVu is it possible to disable call logging which is default enabled with RingCentral salesforce package? Since i have built the custom integration i do not want to see duplicate logs generated by package and custom integration.

@LawRad to disable call logging users just need to toggle auto log calls off in the settings page.
It should not be enabled by default unless it was toggled on in the first place.
