I try to add the emergency address and I always get the below error message:
"Invalid address. Please enter a valid address or contact our support for advanced help."
Stuck here and I am unable to even login

You question title is misleading. The issue is simply that you cannot set the emergency address. But you can login your sandbox.
This is a current known issue due to the recent change to emergency address for sandbox. Right now, there is no solution to this issue. But I am working with the team to solve the problem asap.
Login is fine, but as the emergency address is linked with authorization, I'm unable to do it and hence the title.
