The instructions on how to add the RingCentral(RC) Outlook User Add-In is no longer available. Has the been a change on how to add RC Outlook Add-in for a user?

Hello Joseph,

Are you referring to outlook Add in for RC Meetings or RCV?

I have the same issue. My clients use RC audio conference calling and the RC Outlook Add-in, had the ability to add audio to other Outlook meetings. The most recent update to the RC Outlook Add-in (not Scheduker or Meeting or Video, just RC for Outlook) removed that ability. Trying to find anything in the support repository for the RC Outloook Ad-In seems to lead to Scheduler docments.

How do I find out information about the old (but still available in the app store) RC for Outlook Add-In?

You might want to check the new release notes of RingCentral for Outlook https://support.ringcentral.com/release-notes/integrations/ringcentral-for-outlook.html

Check this link as well. https://support.ringcentral.com/article/8358.html

@Mary-Community_Moderator Thanks for the information.
It appears RingCentral(RC) is phasing away from the Deploy Add-In Link(see link below) and pushing users towards using the RingCentral Scheduler.https://support.ringcentral.com/de/de/article/11172-RingCentral-Meetings-Deploy-Outlook-Addin-User.html

The only thing I do not like about the RingCentral Scheduler is I'm unable to determine if I have scheduled a RC Meeting or an RC Video Meeting. Read through the instructions provided in the link below but it did not help. https://support.ringcentral.com/article/installing-ringcentral-scheduler-outlook-add-in-user.html

Anyway all this to say RingCentral has too many applications and hopefully they start consolidation apps to keep things simple.

The release notes are out of date with the most recent update from May 9, 2020.

The article is from August 13, 2020 and still makes reference to the audio conference option with is missing from the most recent update to the Outlook add-in.

What is the new recommendation for an audio conference?
