Paging with ability to Respond

Our previous system let us Page a *group* of phones, and then let someone pick up a phone and talk to the person Paging. This like a hybrid of Intercom and Paging. It doesn't seem to be possible in RC - as the support page states: "Paging is a one-way broadcast on one or multiple devices/users, while Intercom is a peer-to-peer, two-way communication between two devices/users. " What is the difference between Paging and Intercom? (ringcentral.com)

Has anyone figured out a way to do this?

Hello Sanford, Yes, it is currently not possible with RingCentral. Our Product Team is open to suggestions. Please submit this as a feature request in our Ideas Portal at https://ideas.ringcentral.com/.

Did you checked with RC support team here if that grouping of paging number and contacting that paging person can be done in RC system? I hope can help you with your requirement and guide you.
