We are currently using a Yealink 56P as our cordless phone along with several other Polycom corded phones. With our phone system setup, in order to transfer a call to another phone, it has to be parked first. We have softkeys on the desktop phones setup for this, but not for the cordless There is a sequence of keys that can be used, but for all practical purposes no one is going to do that from the cordless phone as it is just too difficult.
- Does anyone know a way to EASILY send a call to one of two predefined parking spots from the Yealink cordless phones?
- Is there another compatible cordless phone that might work better? I have read through the manuals for several other non-supported cordless models and haven't been able to find anything.
- Would using a cell phone with the mobile app potentially provide a better solution?
Any help would be appreciated.
