We are currently using a Yealink 56P as our cordless phone along with several other Polycom corded phones. With our phone system setup, in order to transfer a call to another phone, it has to be parked first. We have softkeys on the desktop phones setup for this, but not for the cordless There is a sequence of keys that can be used, but for all practical purposes no one is going to do that from the cordless phone as it is just too difficult.

  1. Does anyone know a way to EASILY send a call to one of two predefined parking spots from the Yealink cordless phones?
  2. Is there another compatible cordless phone that might work better? I have read through the manuals for several other non-supported cordless models and haven't been able to find anything.
  3. Would using a cell phone with the mobile app potentially provide a better solution?

Any help would be appreciated.

Because the cordless phone has limited features, your best bet may be to use the cell phone with the mobile app.

Maybe this response will bump this for other users to see if someone else might have a solution.
