Cisco SPA514G - Red light on phone with all messages/faxes deleted

5 years later, and now having the same problem with the nagging red light. The latest RC app is now so bloated with features I don't want and will never use, it's not easy to see what is triggering this. No calls, faxes or messages that I can see.
Is there an easy to way to purge and reset for this issue?
