Does ring central have Automated appointment reminder via text message or plans to have one in the future

RingCentral does not currently have a built-in solution to automate appointment reminders, but this can be done either using our SMS API or working with one of our ISV partners. You can also take advantage of iPaaS solutions like Zapier or Make.com.
Appointment Reminder (as shared by Matthew) is one of the companies that have integrated with RingCentral and provides a more general solution. I would recommend taking a look at their App Gallery listing for more information: https://www.ringcentral.com/apps/appointment-reminder
Another solution if you are using Calendly would be Beetexting. While they are more focused on general SMS capabilities including shared inboxes, payment requests, review requests, etc, they are integrated with Calendly to send appointment confirmations and follow up notifications. Finally, if you are using a specific CRM or solution, there may be appointment capabilities built-in with RingCentral as well: https://www.ringcentral.com/apps/search?q=appointment
