@akjaxbeach This is not something that the Community team can comment on as we’re not entirely sure of the circumstances.

I though I described the circumstances in detail.
Now there has been another 2 days of spending a incredible amount of time talking on the phone and emails with Ringcental customer service and still my carrier is blocked for porting my phone number after 3 more attempts
Today Ringcentral charged my credit card for another month of service so I guess they have no intension of letting me close my account at least for another month

Hi @akjaxbeach We completely understand your frustrations and want you to know that we're actively coordinating with our Executive Response Team, who is already in contact with you to ensure your concerns are addressed.
Thank you Mary the porting department contacted me and told me yes they are working on it.
Today they notified me my phone number was successfully transferred I was so relieved a week of countless phone calls and emails plus hours spent working on it my phone number had finally been moved to my new carrier.
A hour or so latter I received a call from Ringcentral on my Ringcentral app and I was surprised since I had been told my phone number was no longer listed at Ringcentral
It was a guy from Ringcentral that told me my phone number had not been moved like I had been told and he then told me he was in charge of dealing with the complaint I made at the Better Business Bureau concerning Ringcentral not porting out and moving my phone number and I wanted it ported as per Ringcentral policy and FCC requirements and I want them for port my number.
Then he responded that he had delayed the port until the Nov 15th. I asked him why would he do such a thing and he said T Mobile had requested it be delayed until then and I told him that was completely not true at all T Mobile requested it be ported immediately and it was spelled out in the transfer request and so well documented and so he would never be able to make his story credible.
I also in formed him that the department at T Mobile informed me they do thousands of number transfers all over the world daily and that it usually is completed in minutes and they cant remember a case like this where it is a week long battle with no resolution
It seems Ringcentral is going to punish me for making a BBB complaint !
Thank you for keeping us updated, @akjaxbeach. I’ll stay on top of any updates regarding your situation, and we’ll make sure to get this sorted out for you. We truly appreciate your patience.
We are going through the same exact thing with them right now. Our new provider has set to install our services on 11/15/2024 (tomorrow) and they have been in contact with ring central multiple times with no resolve. They claim that another person who has nothing to do with our company has already requested our number to be ported over to another provider. I have tried to reach customer support and waited on hold for almost 3 hours and they ended the call without ever speaking to us. I have submitted a ticket I have emailed and used their chatAI bot as well. Still no resolve as of yet and we may need to escalate this issue to an external governing agency if we cant figure this out today. This is pushing our install date out further. If we cant get this resolved or if they cause our company to lose our number that we have had for close to 30 years it is going to cause a much bigger issue than the loss of a customer.
@propertiesinco303 Porting is HIGHLY regulated. If there is any chance that someone else requested your number be ported over who was not you, RingCentral will take a lot of extra care to ensure that your number isn’t misappropriated.
Send us an email at Community.Support@RingCentral.com so we can look into this further.

Hi @propertiesinco303 I've reviewed your account, and I'll make sure to escalate this issue for you.
I had excellent success with a similar problem when Mary stepped.
Also I've found contacting the Ringcentral porting department directly is more successful.
