Does anyone know of a setting that will remove the leading plus sign on an attachment upon receiving a fax-to-email document? Our EMR application will not save documents with a “+” in the filename, so we are forced to edit each attachment that comes in, it’s very time consuming.
Unfortunately, RingCentral Fax does not currently have a built-in setting to remove or customize the leading plus sign ("+") in the filenames of fax-to-email attachments. You can visit our ideas portal (ideas.ringcentral.com) and submit this as a feature request to RingCentral's development team. They might consider adding customization options for fax file names in future updates.
