The RingCentral Windows app tends to "follow" the default speaker and microphone devices, even when we manually set them in the app.
Is there a way to prevent the app from changing devices unless specifically instructed to do so? We frequently change audio devices and other apps keep their existing preferences, but with RC we have to go into the settings every time we change an audio device to pick the correct mic/speaker combo again.
I see that this is an old post. More times than not, I lose my mic and speaker settings for calls. Is there a way to keep the RC app from changing my settings. This is very frustrating when I go to pick up a call and my mic is not working. If a user sets their mic and speaker. THESE SHOULD NOT CHANGE… Any way to fix this issue?

We’ve been using ringcentral app since September 2024. We have the same audio issues. The audio devices for microphone, speaker, and ringing seem to get switched to something other what we have not set them to.
