I need to be able to copy the same 5 people for every SMS message I send. Is there a way to create a group and include them - example - SalesProspect (individual) plus SalesTeam (5 people in my back office group) - without having to manually add the 5 people every time?

Unfortunately no, however you can create a shared number using a partner solution like Beetexting or Textel if that would be helpful.
Otherwise you could use a solution like Automator, Zapier or Make to automate that whenever a specific number receives a message it is forwarded to other numbers.
