I first asked this question in September 2021 and you have deleted the question with no answer.

Then I logged a support ticket and you just closed the ticket.

Can we get this fixed please?

The announcement text for this feature read

"Microsoft Global Address List (GAL) and Google Directory contacts integration
Connect to your contacts from GAL and Google Directory from within the RingCentral app."

----------

This is misleading and doesn't work, it ignores contact records in the Microsoft Global address list and only lists user objects !

Hi @Nathan Ramsden-Lock, we're currently checking on your concern.

@Mary-Community_Moderator it’s been 3 years - have you finished “checking in to this concern” please? - otherwise it’s time for us to find another platform that does support something as simple as shared contacts integration with microsoft exchange (the worlds biggest source of contact info).

Hi @Nathan1615078064, I am really sorry for missing your question.

I want to make sure you're all set with integrating your Microsoft Global Address List.

Have you had a chance to follow the steps and grant the necessary permissions within the RingCentral app?

If not, please follow the instructions through the article guide below: https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Managing-connected-accounts-in-the-RingCentral-app.html?brand=RingCentral&product=RingEX&language=en_US

I wouldn't be posting back here asking for an answer if it was working!

I keep telling you that it is broken and only shows users from the 365 global address list and not contacts that are in the 365 global address list, rendering it useless.

Personal contacts work fine, but that is not what everyone is after! We need the company wide contacts from the global address list and 4 support tickets, 3 interactions with a ring central account manager and several posts on here and the ideas forum over the last 4 years and you still haven't done anything about it.

You are just not listening to your customers!
