New Ring Central App doesn't show status icons next to user names

Ring Central "Classic" would show the icon from a status next to the user name in the left hand column of the app. Hovering over the icon would show the status text (including custom status text). This is not implemented in the new Ring Central App.

As we are all working remotely we find this was a good feature. I can tell if someone is simply "out of office", or even "Running" or "Having Lunch".

This is NOT the same as DND, it conveys much more information and DND affects other behaviours too.

Please re-implement this missing feature in the new Ring Central App

Hi @matthew-underwood, one of the RingCentral app users has suggested this too. You may add your vote here. Thank you!

Thanks Mary, but this isn't really the same thing. What I'm talking about is the feature that was in Ring Central Classic.( I actually reported this way back when you first started to try and roll out the new app).

In classic when you set a status (either one of the 6 "pre-canned" ones, or by entering your own and choosing an icon), then that status would be reflected next to your name in the "Direct Messages" list of users. This was really handy for team members as they'd get a sense of where you where etc. We use it to say things like "Lunchtime Run" or "Vacationing". This is different to simply "available" / "not-available".

With the new RC app this status _is_ reflected next to a user's name in any chat with that person, but its not visible in the left hand list. This makes it impossible to get an overview of people's statuses (and sort of raises the question, "what is the point of this now?")
