We are delighted to announce that, after a slight delay, version 1.2 is now live in the Chrome App Store! This latest release brings several new features and fixes to enhance your experience. 🎉

What's New in Version 1.2:

  • SMS Auto-Logging Fix: We've resolved an issue where SMS messages were not being auto-logged. All SMS interactions will now be accurately captured, ensuring seamless logging of your communication.
  • Updated Call Recordings: Retrospective auto call logging now properly updates past calls with a link to the call recording, ensuring that all historical call data is complete and easily accessible.
  • Bullhorn Custom Note Actions: Bullhorn users now have the option to override the default note actions enforced by Bullhorn with custom note actions, offering greater flexibility and customization.

We appreciate your patience with the delay and look forward to hearing how these new features and fixes improve your workflow. Stay tuned for more updates!

Our next release is, you guessed it, version 1.3 and will include the ability for admins to manage settings on behalf of all the employees in their company. We hope to release version 1.3 the first week of December.

Note: due to some changes in App Connect, users may need to manually re-enable to plugin after it is updated so that it is properly re-authorized with new permissions and capabilities.

Any ideas on when 1.3 will be out? We’re running out of time to properly due a cutover from the existing BH/Tenfold/RingCentral integration, which is being cut on 12/31, to the new Unified CRM Extension. We need the ability to actually test the extension and its management functionality, and RingCentral is not giving us a proper change/test window to do this fully.

@chrismorgan App Connect 1.3.1 is in review by the Google Chrome web store. We do not expect the review period to take too much longer. Version 1.3 will have the ability for admins to manage the settings of coworkers.

I would encourage you to start your review of App Connect right now on a limited basis. You can deploy more fully as you become increasingly comfortable with the feature set. This approach would also help you identify issues or blockers with enough time for us to respond to those issues and questions before the deadline.

Despite 1.3 having the new admin features, I do not personally see it as resolving any fundamental blocker customers have yet reported - although it will without a doubt ease the onboarding process for larger organizations.

Version 1.5 is going to be the release at the very end of the month that could be an important one for people migrating from Bullhorn as it will include a new experimental server-side call logging solution. But that solution will be enhanced by everyone in your company whose calls need to be logged having previously installed the App Connect Chrome extension. So that is what I recommend you set your goal around - company wide adoption and installation of the client.

And to be honest, and to help people who may have read this far… dirty little secret: Tenfold will not be turned off exactly on Dec 31. We have a little buffer in there for a small handful of customers who need a little extra time. Sssssh. :)
