Adding a Developer to Your Developer Console Account
For paying customers, access to the Developer Console is governed by your company's roles, permissions, and policies. To grant a colleague access:RingCentral Developers

Register the Developer in the Admin Console:

Log in to the RingCentral Admin Console.

Navigate to the "Users" tab.

Click the "Add User" button.

Follow the on-screen instructions to add the new user.
Note: If the "Users" tab or the "Features" section is not visible, it indicates insufficient permissions. In such cases, contact your system administrator with Super Admin privileges.

Assign the Appropriate Role with Developer Portal Access:

In the Admin Console, ensure the new user is assigned a role that includes the "Developer Portal Access" permission.

This permission is located under the "Features" permission group.
Once assigned, the developer can log in to the Developer Console without receiving a formal invitation email. Access is granted based on their existing user credentials and assigned permissions.

Understanding Developer Roles
After a developer logs in for the first time, admins can assign one of the following roles:

Developer Admin: Can manage any app, developers, and developer JWT credentials.

Developer: Can manage only the apps they create and their personal JWT credentials.

Audit-user: Has view-only access to apps and profiles.
To become a Developer Admin, contact an existing admin within your organization. The list of Developer Admins can be found under the "Organization" tab in the Developer Console.
