Why am I not able to send offensive words via text in ringcentral. Is there a control. Can this be turned off? Please let me know.

We do have our own spam/fraud/abuse check and downstream carriers like T-mobile, AT&T, Verizon, etc also employ such checks. These checks are mostly to curb spam and fraud, but occasionally offensive words get flagged too. In other words, it may begetting blocked at any level.

To look specifically into your case, I would suggest you to open a support ticket with details on the phone number, text content and date/time when it was sent, and our support team can have a look and provide next steps.

It’s worth a shot to try what Gurpreet recommends. 
Sadly, it’s tough with other carriers and their filters.
