For only 3 of our users SMS stopped logging in Salesforce. We've checked their autolog and they are all checked. They have logged in and out. We have one user on Lightning and the other two are on Classic. All three have the same profiles and roles. They have peers in the same profiles and roles, on Lightning and Classic whose texts are logging in Salesforce.

I would have the impacted users start support cases so we can do some live troubleshooting and see what's going on :)
