RingCentral is launching a NEW auto-update PKG installer, and we are looking for Admins who want early access to beta-test it.

Limitations of the current PKG (available on the **Support > Download page):

• Auto-update only works if the user is a local admin or has the local admin password
• RingCentral Desktop App checks if the user has local admin permission before attempting to auto-update itself

The benefits of the NEW auto-update PKG:

• Auto-update does not require local admin permission to work
• As an Admin, you will save a lot of time because you are no longer required to roll out the latest version of RingCentral Desktop App to the Mac users in your organization who don't have local admin permission. With this NEW auto-update PKG, they will be able to auto-update to the newest version of RingCentral Desktop App when it becomes available
