Changing number of rings


I am looking for an answer more recent than those I see from 1, 2 and 3 years ago, where they give directions that no longer appear to apply.

Where do I find the setting that enables me to change the audible ring on my desktop phone from only 1 ring? I have looked all over the Settings (both desktop and mobile app) and don’t see how to do this.

Under Settings/Phone/Incoming call rules/Work hours/Ring settings/Ring in order I have my desktop phone set to ring first, and I have it set to 6 rings. But it is only audibly ringing once on the desktop phone, making it hard to hear and catch.

Please help!

it’s not something that would come from RC. You should check the settings on your phone. 

it also might not be a setting - I can’t imagine there being a setting 
Ring only once -> Yes/No

Have you tried a factory reset? (Do this only if you know how to provision the phone after resetting it)

Also I want to confirm something. When you call you phone from your mobile - do you hear the ring-back tone for the entire duration (say ~20-30 seconds) but the desktop phone only has 1 audible ring?
Does the display of the phone indicate an incoming call for the entire ~20-30 seconds even if there is no audio?

Thanks for your reply. As I mentioned, it’s only the audible ring on the actual phone that is only one ring. Yes, the display on the phone continues to indicate an incoming call. The caller (me, if from my cell) hears ringing as normal.

I had definitely walked through all the settings on the actual phone as well.

These are brand-new phones so no need to revert to factory settings. :)

It sounds like it is something our administrator will need to work with the company on. Apparently the default is 5 seconds, so we need to request that the duration be increased.
