Call forwarding to a cell phone but want missed calls to go to Ring Central Voicemail

Hi I am forwarding my ring central phone number to a mobile but its sending callers to the mobile phone voicemail instead of my Ring Central voicemail. I set the settings in the call forwarding for missed calls to "send to voicemail" Thanks for any suggestions.
