Does RingCentral offer any help against spam callers other than a link to the DoNotCall list, which we registered for in 2004?

Hi Susan,

There's no other option since spam callers are not controlled by RingCentral.

Thank you Mary. Verizon offers tools though they don't control spam callers either. Could you please pass this to your Exec Office as it is becoming a significant issue for our firm. Thanks

You may want to try this:

Got to: https://service.ringcentral.com/application/overview

> Settings > Screening, Greeting & Hold Music > Call Screening (enable)

“Turn on this option when you want callers to announce their name before continuing to connect the call. This option lets you identify the caller so you can pick up the call immediately. After turning on this option, go to Call Handling & Forwarding > Settings > Incoming Call Information to set your preferences.”

You can set so that anyone not in your RC company directory (usually automatically added) or a user’s personal directory (manual or import), is required to announce their name. This helps fight the robo-calls. Vendors, etc. announce themselves and you can add them to your personal directory if you wish.

Just an option to try.

Thanks b-d!
