Feature Request: Removing Missed Call Notification to Call Queue if Ringing is Set-up to Simultaneous

Hi,
I worked with one of your operators in order to set the call queue so that it rings on all phones simultaneously which is great. The problem is when someone answers the call, the rest of the callers receive the indication that the call was missed on their end leading to the perception that the call was missed thus creating miscommunication.

Can we work together to configure how to set the call queue so that each user who doesn't answer doesn't receive a missed call indicator? Also, I've created an email security group called missed@jsnell.com, for the goal here would only to receive voicemails from calls that are missed from the call queue.

Has this feature been implemented?  I’m struggling with the same issue.

@ZekeZ What model phone do you have? If it’s a Yealink you can ask RC to apply a custom config for your yealink like this:

#!version:1.0.0.1
phone_setting.missed_call_power_led_flash.enable = 0

Of course this will mean you wouldn’t get the LED flashing if you missed a call to your direct number as well.

Unfortunately, the phones are Mitel 6930 desk phones.  Honestly, even being able to filter missed calls on the desktop or mobile app to only show missed calls from internal numbers would solve the issue for us.  Here’s the specific situation:  One part of business is a retail store with 11 phones in a ring group.  Whenever any of the phones answer a call, the other 11 users show it as a missed call.  So, during busy hours a user will have literally dozens of missed calls in an hour.  This makes it very difficult to notice important missed calls (such as family members or staff in other locations trying to get hold of a person). I’m open to any possible solutions!

@ZekeZ I would reach out to support and ask them why “Answered elsewhere” is not working.
