My questions are in reference to this RingCentral link that states that free users can only receive calls through the company's Auto-receptionist and place calls using RingOut. If they make or receive more than 10 calls in a billing cycle, the account will be charged the cost of an additional user that month.
Use Case:
Customer has office staff and remote work staff such as Real Estate Agent or Labor worker.
Office staff will have digital license and remote worker staff will have free video pro account.
The remote workers do not need RC App and features and only communicate with their main office thru their existing 10-digit mobile number.
Main office would like to leverage auto attendant for their main published number that has key press option for dial-by-name.
Main office would like remote workers to be included in the dial-by-name directory.
Questions:
Can we create a free video user with an extension that call forwards to remote worker 10-digit mobile number? Answer is yes.
Will this video user be found in the dial-by-name directory? Answer is yes.
If some calls the publish number auto receptionist and uses the dial-by-name feature, is this action considered making a call and if they exceed the 10 calls in a billing cycle, they will be charged cost of an additional user (digital license) that month? Answer - ?
If an office staff dials the remote workers staff extension that forwards to 10-digital mobile number, is that action considered making a call and if they exceed the 10 calls in a billing cycle, they will be charged cost of an additional user (digital license) that month?
