Need instructions to send calls to an employees cell phone during business hours.

  2. Will this be a temporary setup?

One employee & no not temporary. Employee is working from home.


Steps to Route Business Hours Calls to a Cellphone Number:

  1. Set Up Call Handling for the Auto-Receptionist:

    • Log in to the Admin Portal.
    • Navigate to Phone System > Auto-Receptionist > General Settings > Call Handling.
    • Under the Business Hours section, select the option "A specific user" and ensure the correct user extension is selected.
    • Click Save.
  2. Align the User’s Schedule with Business Hours:

    • Go to the Users tab in the Admin Portal and select the user or extension where calls will be routed.
    • Check the user’s schedule to ensure it matches the company’s business hours:
      • Navigate to User Details > Settings & Permissions > Schedule > Edit.
      • Choose Specific schedule, set the correct work hours and time zone, and click Save.
  3. Configure Incoming Call Routing to a Cellphone:

    • Under the selected user, go to the Phone tab.
    • Select Incoming Call Rules > My Work Day > Incoming Calls.
    • Under Ring Settings, click Add Number or Coworker.
    • Add the cellphone number you want the calls to be routed to and click Save.
      • Note: You can add multiple numbers to ring simultaneously if needed.

By following these steps, calls during business hours will be routed to the specified extension and its associated cellphone number.
