RC UC .msi that can be auto-updated by the end-user

My Windows administrator is having some challenges deploying the RC app via .exe. Deploying the .msi file is certainly easier and more reliable, but we'd like our end-users to at least be prompted to update when an update is available. Are there any additional options for deploying the RC UC app with auto-update? Thanks.
