RingCentral Desktop App Sticky Caller ID for SMS Conversations

I'm surprised, unless I'm missing something, that the Caller ID for SMS conversations isn't sticky (retaining the same outbound caller ID as the current conversation). The mobile app does this by default - is there a setting in the desktop app or is this not currently supported?
