Notification emails with no details

My team members used to receive their email notifications with the Team, Task and message in the email...for a couple weeks now the emails just come in with a blank notification that says you have messages waiting, but doesn't specify who the message is from or the task its associated with in the email. Was there a change? Its frustrating because when they go in to look its not obvious who the message was from.
