Calls not auto logged and note screen not populating - Bullhorn

Hello,

 We recently onboarded with RingCentral and everything was going smoothly, a few weeks ago we started seeing an error message about calls not logged (picture included) and the call logging page stopped auto populating after the call ended.

 

I have tested this myself so I can confirm that the “Log phone calls automatically” and “Open call logging page after call” options in the settings are turned on.

 

I have found a workaround for the calls not logged error by setting default actions in the Bullhorn options, but my concern is that the default will not always be the best action for that specific note and without the log page auto populating after the call my end users won’t know/remember to change it and our data in Bullhorn will be bad/messy.

 

Are there any suggestions of what we can do on our end to get these features working again properly or is there a fix in the pipeline on the RingCentral side?

@JKrupski I agree with you that we can make this process smoother. The current way we allow someone to populate default note actions is prone to error IMO. I want to improve that, and then maybe see about allowing users to configure different note actions for different call outcomes. 

What are the different states note actions you would like to users to be able to set more easily and/or automatically?

Setting default note is one way to go, as fully automatic. But yes, it could generate messy data as it’s not as “smart” as users themselves. For organizations who have simple arrangements on Note Actions, we would suggest using default Note Action. But for those who want to have more control over more accurate Note Action assignments, I’d recommend using this:

 

 

What it does is, after every call, it’ll auto pop up log form page for users to be able to check the prefilled/default values, then manually save it if everything looks good. That way, logs can be better managed in a more accurate way.

@ByrneReese I think if you could make it so that the full logging page show while on a call then it would be easier for people to select the correct note action, or if AI could listen for specific words that our people select beforehand like “prescreen” and then automatically select “prescreen” from our note actions list that would be really smooth.

 

@dakong I had that option selected previously, but it wasn’t working. It seems with the new 1.3.3 update that issue has been fixed though!
