Do we need to forward calls from our number being ported to our temporary RingCentral number?

We have a phone number assigned to us by RingCentral, and we are waiting for the number known to the public to be ported over.

Should we be forwarding calls to the number RingCentral assigned us? If it matters, we are moving from Ooma to RingCentral.

Hi Gena, you can temporarily do this so you won't stop receiving calls.
