We are testing this integration in NetSuite and are able to create phone calls but are failing with contact creation.  The placeholder company was not created, I added it manually. Still failed.  Permissions from rings documentation have been confirmed and are correct.  We tried using the standard netsuite contact form and still get a failure.  The error does not point to anything.  Anyone had success?

@badgepassjeff Permissions continues to be the biggest challenge users are facing to get up and running successfully. We are looking to release some improvements in the near future to help with this.

  1. We want to release improved error messaging to give better guidance to end users.
  2. We want to implement a quick sanity check for having the necessary permissions.

A few things to check:

  • Are you using the role that is bundled with the integration, or a custom role?
  • If you are using a custom role, can you create a contact directly within NetSuite. If you can’t do it in NetSuite, then the integration won’t be able to either.

I am an admin in Netsuite

I am an admin in RingCentral

I have an error when Creating a Contact or Customer from RingCentral extension to Netsuite

What do we do to make it happen for our Sales team?

@EvgeniyR Can you share the error message you are receiving, or share a screenshot?

@ByrneReese sure, here

@EvgeniyR I am going to ask the engineers to look into this. There is an error - but they need to check the logs. I am sorry you are experiencing this. We will get back to you soon.

Hi @EvgeniyR Could you please let us know which version of the SuiteApp you are using and whether you are working in the Production or Sandbox environment in NetSuite?

@EvgeniyR Could you please retry and share screenshot, I have added detailed error logs.
