In automation, the send SMS when voicemail received does NOT actually work to forward the message unless you add an action step to transcribe the message.

In the new workflows the “transcribe” action is missing and as a result you cant forwards th text of the voicemail.  i.e. loss of functionality

Can this be fixed?  I tried editing the json file and importing it but to no avail.

@ewexler Thank you for reaching out about this. We should do a little more communication around this, but there are some changes/differences between Workflow Builder and Automator. 

In Workflow Builder, a transcription is provided automatically with the Voicemail received trigger. It is no longer necessary to use a transcribe action to transcribe a voicemail. 

 

The transcribe action is coming back in the next release or two. But we are moving away from using that in Workflow Builder as using the action to transcribe media will come at an additional cost.
