Yes. That is a core function of App Connect. However, I would offer certain caveats as it relates to using this tool to meet compliance requirements. App Connect can be set to automatically log all communications with known contacts in your CRM, and for the users who have been setup to use App Connect. But there are circumstances in which not all SMS messages may be logged. For example:
- Calls for which there is no known contact may not be logged
- Calls for which there are multiple possible contacts may not be logged
It is safe to use if you are aware of those circumstances and work to avoid them, but generally, if you have a need to log 100% of all SMS messages received by your company regardless, and you need to rest easy every night that is happening, then you might want to use a product designed specifically for that purpose.
