We're thrilled to celebrate a major milestone with the addition of Freshdesk and GoHighLevel CRM support. These are the first third-party adapters bundled with App Connect, made possible by our powerful developer framework. This framework empowers developers to connect RingCentral with virtually any CRM, opening up a world of possibilities for your communication workflows.

Freshdesk is officially available now! We're also excited to announce that GoHighLevel is now available in beta form, with documentation coming soon. Both Freshdesk and GoHighLevel adapters are commercial offerings and come with a 30-day free trial, after which payment will be required to continue using them. We believe these new integrations, built by our partner Loyally, will provide immense value to our users.

More Enhancements in App Connect 1.5.5:

  • Inightly Custom Phone Fields: You now have greater flexibility with Inightly, thanks to a new setting that allows you to input custom phone field names.
  • Improved Google Sheets Connection: We've streamlined the connection flow for Google Sheets, making it easier than ever to link App Connect to your sheets for seamless call logging.
  • Enhanced Click-to-Dial Control: Based on your valuable feedback, we've refined the click-to-dial enablement. You can now precisely control where App Connect operates by specifying a list of URLs to either block or allow within your settings.
    Enhanced click-to-dial settings

Bug Fixes:

  • We've resolved an issue in Google Sheets where some fields were incorrectly logged with an "undefined" value.
  • A bug in Google Sheets has been fixed that occurred when retrieving a call log entry if no note was provided by the user during call creation or logging.

Update to App Connect 1.5.5 today to experience these new features and improvements!

We presently have an FSM, that doesn’t play very nice with others but is at a great grandfather rights price point, so won’t be changing it for now.

We are looking to put a sales pipeline in front of this, and some marketing software in front of that.  Then build a workflow, but may prove complicated getting everything working together right.

Wanted GoHighlevel, but couldn’t have ringcentral.  If this is up and running, it will be interesting to see this in action, a demo/ url where I can see a video review, that sort of thing.

  • Do you have a url link / video I can take a look at on this?
  • Will this be full integration i.e. some rings on phone, can see who they are from highlevel crm element
  • All calls logged against contacts and can be assigned to deals
  • How will this work with SMS, that sort of thing?

Thanks in advance for any resources/answers you can share

@Bulmor This is not exactly what you are looking for, but it is a start:

This has a video of App Connect so you can get a sense of what it does and how it does it. The GHL adapter simply helps connect App Connect to GHL’s backend, so the functionality you see in the video should be very very similar. The GHL adapter is currently in beta and we are working through issues with the community, so we would love to get you onboard trying it out and to get your feedback.

What’s the process for the GHL Beta onboarding? How do you get signed up?

@spwilson Thank you for inquiring about GoHighLevel. Our partners will be in touch soon, and we will also soon update our documentation so others can participate as well.

I’m excited about this integration with GHL! 🎉

But I’m having some issues getting it to connect. Maybe someone can help?

I downloaded the Ring Central App Connect Chrome extension and followed the steps to log in to GHL… When I click on “Connect” with Go High Level, accept the permissions, it says “Loading” for 10 seconds… Then times out.

I followed the tutorial video step-by-step but I’m not getting it to work.

Has someone found a way to make this work?
