Hi, we switched from a landline and ported our business number to Ringcentral as that's what was suggested by Frontier so that we could use our number to create a What’s app business account. We have since switch/ported but the number still will not work to set up a What’s app business account.

Hey, @KTx I would suggest working with Frontier support directly on this first.

Hi, thanks...my issue lies in the fact that Frontier says the number was ported to RingCentral so they can’t do anything and RingCentral says call Frontier, so it’s just been a pass the buck situation for the last 2 weeks. The other day was 5 hours on the line between the 2 and still no one has actually helped. Ring Central keeps talking about getting in touch with the integration department which at this point I think is a figment of someone's imagination as no one knows how to actually be able to speak to an actual person from that department….at this point I’m just regretting switching to this service at all and am looking into alternatives.

Okay, this is good information!
Thanks for giving us a chance to dig in.
So, you are no longer a Frontier customer, yes?
I misinterpreted that you might be one of our partner customers through Frontier.

You can DM me with details or shoot us an email at Community.Support@RingCentral.com and we can help to escalate.

Don’t give up yet!

We still have our internet with Frontier, but they no longer consider us a customer on the phone end as it was ported to Ring.

I am working internally to see if we can’t prompt Frontier to address your concern.
More soon!
