I cannot upload an external shared directory CSV file.

The number filed must be provided in full-length format including '+' sign, country code, area code and local number parts.

I have tried the following formats +1-XXX-XXX-XXXX, +1-(XXX) XXX-XXXX, +1 (XXX) XXX-XXXX and they do not work.

Any suggestions?

Can you explain more details how do you upload the .CSV file? Using API or from a tool? You should also try the number in E.164 number format, which mean +12223334444.

You have to add a comma for each field you do not wand to add data. In my case I only add First Name, Last Name, Job title, Mobile number and company:

First Name,Last Name,Job Title,Company,Email,Home Number,Business Number,Mobile Number,Company Main Number,Source,External ID

The only thing i cannot figureit out its how to send text messages, it only allow me to send fax and call to this contacts …this is how i get here. :(

If you talk about the RC app when you select the Contacts view and the Personal tab and you don’t see the option icon to send text messages to a contact. Then double check if you can see the “Text” icon at all at the first pane of the RC app

If you see that, you should see this when selecting a personal contact too

 

If you don’t see those text icons, it’s because the user does not have a the permission to send text message and in that case, login your account admin portal to check the user role and make sure that it has the “Business SMS” permission checked
