the RingCentral app for D365 Sales Hub is not showing the sidebar panel widget

hello, we have D365 deployed with the Ring Central app to make phone calls, add notes, etc.


one of our agents recently discovered that his Ring Central app within D365 Sales Hub is not displaying. he was using google chrome and the sidebar panel would appear intermittently. to resolve the issue, we tried MS Edge and it appeared to work correctly at first, but now it's not displaying for him. please help.
