Does anyone know how to configure a SNOM PA1 so when a call comes in on a shared line not only do the phones ring but a overhead speaker also rings. Basicly the desk phone is a VVX410 and when that rings a overhead loud speaker in the shop should also ring
You can do this, but not if you're using Shared Lines. Not sure if you are or not, but just letting you know.
Anyway, you can use the SNOM PA-1 and connect it to your amp. From RC, you'll register that device as an "existing phone," add those configuration details to the SNOM identity and register it to RC. After that, you can add it to a ring group with the VVX410 so that it rings overhead as well. Keep in mind, you need to pay for a line for the SNOM, so not sure if that's worth the cost or not.
