East Coast Receptionist asked Phong Vu answered

"Phone number doesn't belong to extension"

Our text messages all of a sudden stopped working and we received this error message. Nothing in our account has changed, the functions have not changed, we have not changed our phone numbers, and everything was working with no issues until we received this message. How can we fix this?

The phone number you are using is assigned to the company auto-receptionist. And in the IVR settings, it is assigned to the message-only extension Ext 11. If that worked before in your app with other extensions, it MUST be someone changed the settings.

Anyway, login your app with the Ext 11 login credentials. OR, change the IVR settings to point to another extension which you want to use the number to send/receive SMS.
