How to remove Missed Call Notification on Yealink T48s desk phones

Hi, we don't care about our missed calls and a very annoying message appears on the desk phones when we get a missed call or even intercom. I'd like for that message to not appear on all of our phones. We have yealink t48s phones.

Hello Nicholas, we can remove the notification by login into the phone interface using the IP address of the phone.

Find the IP address of the phone: go to Menu > Status > Network > TCP/IP > IPV4 address.

How To Disable Missed Call Notification On Yealink Phones On Intermedia Unite

  • By design, when the phone is a part of a hunt group and the agent does not answer the call, the device will have a missed call notification - even if the call was answered by another agent on another phone. This may encourage a client to disable missed call notifications entirely.

Note: When the feature is disabled, any and all notifications of missed calls will be removed from the device - no matter if the call comes from the hunt group or not.

Note: See steps for cordless phones at the bottom.

Steps To Disable Missed Call Notifications

1. Locate the Web UI credentials for the phone in the HostPilot® Control Panel: Services > Unite > Devices > Select the device name > Get credentials.

2. Find the IP address of the phone: go to Menu > Status > Network > TCP/IP > IPV4 address.

3. Type the IP address into a browser's web address bar.

4. Enter the user name and the password you got from the HostPilot control panel.

5. Navigate to Features > Notification Popups > Display Missed Call Popup > select Disable in the drop-down menu > Confirm.

6. The phone will reboot.

7. Congratulations! You have just disabled the missed call notifications for the phone.

Disabling Notification LED on Cordless Yealink Phones

To disable LED notification on cordless Yealink you can do the following:

From the phone

  1. Press OK on a handset to enter the main menu.
  2. Go to the Settings > Display > Notification Light.
  3. Press the left or right navigation buttons to select Enabled or Disabled in the missed calls field.
  4. Press Save to accept the change or Back to cancel.

From WEB UI

  1. Locate the Web UI credentials for the phone in the HostPilot® Control Panel: Services > Unite > Devices > Select the device name > Get credentials.
  2. Press the OK button to access the menu.
  3. Press the OK button on Status
  4. Press the OK button on Base. The first entry on this page is IP: (e.g 192.168.1.140)
  5. Type the IP address into a browser's web address bar.
  6. Enter the user name and the password you got from the HostPilot control panel.
  7. Navigate to Features > Power LED > MissCall Power Light Flash > select Disabled in the drop-down menu > click Confirm.
