External Contacts Integration with Glip RingCentral App on Windows

Why is there still no external contacts integration with RingCentral's Windows or web app (aka Glip)? This is a sorely missing feature such that without it the RingCentral Windows and web apps are quite crippled and certainly lacking as business-grade software. Can anyone in authority who may be monitoring this forum post a positive update on this matter for all of us, especially those of us who need to specify a business communication system to our clients?

Hey, Steven!
We've shared your contact information with a product manager specific to your inquiry.
He'll be reaching out to you.

If you don't hear back, please shoot us an email at community.support@RingCentral.com and we'll follow-up.

Everyone, I have a work-around to make the RingCentral app usable on Windows until a new more usable Windows app is released:  Use the MEMU ANDROID EMULATOR and load and use the Android RingCentral app inside the emulator.  You can't use it to attach images from the PC to a text message, but other than that it works as a good stop-gap solution for now.

Another feature sorely missing from the Android, iOS, or Windows apps is the ability to create a group text message.  There is no way to notify my team by RingCentral SMS, necessitating using Google Voice for that purpose with a different SMS number.  Not at all ideal, but the RC app simply doesn't support creating group text messages, only replying to a group message that someone else created.
