I am receiving calls placed to a phone number that is not mine.  People are dialing a number with the same area code and exchange, but different last 4 number and are reaching me. 

 

This is confusing to them - because they think they will be getting someone else.  But also confusing to me as to why this is happening. 

The number the dial is xxx-xxx-5540 and my number is xxx-xxx-1087, so not an easy misdial. 

 

Is there a way to uncross the lines?

Thanks for bringing this up! It sounds like there may be an issue with how the calls are being routed, possibly due to call forwarding settings or an error in the backend configuration. To get this resolved, we’ll need to check the logs and call routing details for your account.
