I'm not receiving incoming faxes

We can send faxes out but we cannot receive faxes. We have been on Ring Central for one week,

To help me narrow this down: Where are you checking for the incoming faxes? (For example: the mobile app, your email, or the physical fax machine?)

Since you have only been using the service for a week, the issue is likely due to one of these three reasons:

  1. The Number Transfer: If you kept your old phone number, the move to RingCentral might not be 100% finished. Sometimes you can send faxes out before the system is ready to pull incoming faxes in. You can check the "Porting Status" in your admin settings.

  2. The Inbox Setting: Faxes sent to a main company number often go to the "Main Admin" instead of your personal folder. You might be looking in your own inbox while the faxes are arriving in the main company inbox.

Next Step: Try sending a test fax to yourself from an outside website. If it doesn't show up in your "Received" list within a few minutes, you should contact Support to make sure your number is fully "pointed" to your new account.
