OK... but how 'Smart' is Smart ACR ? (and why no documentation?)

Good morning,

We just noticed in adding a new staff member to RC that there’s now a third option in the Call Recording area of User Details.

No Blog entry, no documentation, no news from RC - it just popped up.

Anyone from RC want to take a stab at it and let us know what it is, how it functions, how its triggered, and what it says?!?  I enabled it on my extension, and California being a 2-party notification state - would think I would hear something on the callers side.  Nope.  Just silence. (calling to/from my personal cell)

Just curious.

Alright @Joe Cache I dug around and found a couple things, but I’m still working out with the KB team why this wasn’t easier to find.

Scroll down to #13 and I think it’ll get you what you need.

The FAQ has some details as well:

Scroll closer to the bottom of the page.

If this still doesn’t support you, reach out to me and we’ll dig further! 😉

Don't like the answer, since being in California (2-party) if both parties are notified - it SHOULD still record the call.  That’s not 'smart’ at all.

That ‘feature’ needs to go back in the oven and cook a while longer - it’s not ready yet.

Thank you for finding the hidden FAQ.  :)
