We have a receptionist extension that multiple employees use to monitor text messages sent to our main number. I typically keep that open in the RingCentral app.


We also have each employee log into the RingCentral Phone app for their direct extension on their cell phones.


This was suggested to us as a way to handle this situation by our account manager when we first set up our RC account.


My understanding is that the mobile phone app is being sundowned. Is there a workaround or a different way to approach this?


I believe you should be able to continue with your setup.  The mobile phone app is only being "sundowned" due to a new RC app that is replacing it - so there will still be a mobile app to use.
