I have 4 x accounts all linked. In the RingCentral Desktop app under contacts the user sees all users as contacts from all 4 accounts. Is there any way to restrict it to just see the users from the account that the user belongs to?

If your RingCentral accounts are "linked" (forming a unified company directory), it's generally not possible to restrict the Desktop app's "Contacts" view to only show users from a specific account.

RingCentral's design aims for easy internal communication across all linked users.

Workarounds:

  • Encourage users to utilize Favorites for frequent contacts.

  • Users can create Custom Contact Groups for their direct team.

  • Promote using the search bar for specific colleagues.
