We are new to RingCentral and are getting ready to deploy the necessary applications to our end users but have a few questions regarding the various applications.

I have been browsing the RingCentral Support site but can't' seem to find the answers to the following questions.

  • Does the RingCentral App include RingCentral Meetings, and the Outlook Plugin?
  • Does the RingCentral App include RingCentral Phone Desktop?
  • We are using the 32-bit version of Office 365 running on Windows 10 64-bit, so which version of RingCentral Applications should we install, the 32-bit version or the 64-bit versions?
  • Does the RingCentral App work in a Citrix XenApp multi-user environment?
  • Does RingCentral Meetings or RingCentral Phone Desktop work in a Citrix XenApp multi-user environment?
  • Where can we find the administration/installation guides for the various applications?
  • We will be deploying the RingCentral applications via our software deployment program, so where can we find information regarding the command line options for installing the applications?

1. The ring central unified app contains: Phone, Meetings, Messaging, and Contacts.
2. Yes, you no longer need that app installed.
3. Install the version of the app that meets the version of office you are installing, however, unless there is a system requirement, you are better off with Office 64 Bit if you are over 4GB of RAM. 32 bit cant deal with more than that.
4. I can't help you with Citrix - Your account rep should be able to get that answer and more
5. https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ACYBGNTLyhMPxCmgOsipke_F3zPaVHQp3w:1579060257464&q=Ringcentral+Documentation&spell=1&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj9nubt2YTnAhVtZN8KHUoDCz0QBSgAegQIEBAn&biw=1920&bih=977
6. From What I understand, only the unified app can be installed via software deployment. Downloads are here: https://support.ringcentral.com/s/download?language=en_US
I found the switches here: https://community.ringcentral.com/ringcentral/topics/admin-level-installation-for-ringcentral-for-desktop

But most importantly, if you install the MSI (IT) underadministrators, it will install on every user who logs in afterwards. You cannot do that with Phone or Meetings, just the unified app.
